Texas 4-H Roundup is a qualifying and invitational event for Senior 4-H youth (9th-12th) who placed in a district level roundup or signed up to compete in one of the invitational events. Leadership Lab is a 2-night, 3-day camp to prepare senior age 4-Hers from the 18 counties in District 9 for leadership roles. These roles might be at the county level or their clubs. Lab is set up to be enjoyable and fun, but there is work too. The sessions require participant involvement and concentration. Grades 9th – 12th are encouraged to attend. Play time is set up with activities that build team work skills and camaraderie in the district. For more information, click here!

The State 4-H Dog Show is held each year in July, and offers classes in agility, rally, obedience, costume, tricks, drill, showmanship and conformation. Some counties host 4-H Dog Shows. These contests will be publicized on this page and through e-mail as information becomes available. At the annual State 4-H Dog Show, you can enter photos you have taken of your dog in the Dog Photography Contest. Photos are entered in four categories: dog still life, active, storyboard, and theme.
