Galveston County Master Gardener Robert Marshall will begin his program covering some facts about fertilizer, what the numbers tells us, macro and micro nutrients, acidity and how to change the pH of the soil. Galveston County Master Gardener Gene Speller will present a program on Cruciferous and other favorite vegetables usually grown during fall and winter months. These include popular varieties of broccoli, Brussels sprouts, cabbage, cauliflower, collard, kale, mustard and turnip greens, all members of the Cruciferous family. Kokedama is a ball of soil, covered with moss, on which an ornamental plant grows.
