Aquaponics Gardening

Galveston County Master Gardener Robin Collins will explain what an aquaponics system is, how to set up and maintain one, and the advantages of using aquaponics over more traditional methods of growing vegetables and herbs. Included in the presentation will be information about the wide variety of herbs and vegetables that grow successfully using this method, as well as how to select which fish to use. Galveston County Master Gardener Loretta Osteen will lead a hands-on workshop demonstrating the propagation methods for Plumeria from cuttings and seeds.
