Register now for Galveston County Leadership Camp! This camp is focused on Galveston County 4-H'ers who have been elected to or are interested in a club or county officer position. We will learn about teamwork, parliamentary procedure, leadership skills, public speaking, and more! Sign up using the form below - camp is limited to the first 20 participants. Galveston County Master Gardener Robin Collins will explain what an aquaponics system is, how to set up and maintain one, and the advantages of using aquaponics over more traditional methods of growing vegetables and herbs. Included in the presentation will be information about the wide variety of herbs and vegetables that grow successfully using this method, as well as how to select which fish to use. If special program accommodations by participants are needed, please contact the Extension Office no later than five days before the program.
