Order here February 28 thru April 3

Sheep/Goat

• SFOT 2024  market sheep/goat, registered breeding sheep/goat, and wether/commercial dams/does MUST order and validate in June; Optional for Spring 2025 major show sheep/goat.
• Previously validated breeding sheep/goats (registered, wether/commercial) do NOT need to be validated again UNLESS ownership has changed.
• NEW: If a TGBA/TLBA tag is added, a new tag must be purchased and the animal will have to revalidate.
• Original registration papers for breeding sheep/goat must be in exhibitor’s name by June 30, 2024.

Heifer

• Fall 2024 major show heifers MUST order and validate in June; Optional for Spring 2025 heifers.
• All major show heifers will be tagged.
• Previously major show validated heifers do NOT need to be validated again UNLESS ownership has changed.
• Original registration papers must be in exhibitor’s name by June 30, 2024.

Steer

• Fall 2024 & Spring 2025 major show steers MUST order and validate in June. There are NO other options for major show steer validation.

Swine

• Fall 2024 major show market swine and registered/crossbred breeding gilts MUST order and validate in June.
• Original registration papers for breeding gilts must be in exhibitor’s name by July 1, 2024.

 Order Details

• Order what is necessary. The Extension Office does not order extra. Refunds will not be given.
• Ordering DOES NOT enter a participant into any show.
• This is NOT for participation in the Galveston County Fair.

Validation Dates & Information

Heifers/Steers: June 25, 4:30pm-6:30pm, at Galveston County Fairgrounds

Sheep/Goat/Swine: June 26, 4:30pm-6:30pm, at Santa Fe Ag Barn
