Growing and Using Herbs

Fort Bend County Master Gardener and Coastal Prairie Texas Master Naturalist Tricia Bradbury will provide an overview and general information about growing herbs on the Texas Gulf Coast. She will share tips on herb gardening and preserving the harvest. Learn how to preserve herbs for later use by drying or freezing them or by using them to flavor oil or vinegar. She will also share tips on cooking with fresh, as well as dried herbs.

All programs are conducted at the Galveston County AgriLife Extension Office at 4102-B Main Street (FM 519) inside Carbide Park in La Marque, and are free to the public except when noted. However, we ask that you pre-register so we can ensure there is an adequate number of handouts.
