Galveston County Master Gardener John Jons will give an introduction to the method of gardening by the square foot. Discover this unique way of planning the bed, selecting plants, building the bed, and maintaining and renewing it. This is an ideal program for anyone who would like to learn a simple, productive method of gardening that will enable one to teach children or adults with limitations.

All programs are conducted at the Galveston County AgriLife Extension Office at 4102-B Main Street (FM 519) inside Carbide Park in La Marque, and are free to the public except when noted. However, we ask that you pre-register so we can ensure there is an adequate number of handouts.
