County Roundup Contests are invitational contests – rules, guidelines, and scoring for each contest follows closely to the Texas 4-H Roundup Contest Rules for each contest, however some differences and changes may be made to accommodate our contests on a smaller scale. Note that these changes apply to the county level only, and you will need to check district/state rules for official rules at those contests. See below for important details and changes to each contest:
- NEW for 2022 – Food Challenge has been added to County Roundup! For county level participation, teams may consist of 2-4 members. The members participating on this team do not have to be members participating at district/state level.
- Consumer Decision Making is an individual contest at the county level. There will be classes for placing, and a reasons portion.
- Food Show will consist of the presentation and skills test – there will not be a knowledge test at the county level.
- Storyboards may have a digital format or a traditional format at the county level.
